RIAJ began making "Sales figures of digital music delivery" public as official
statistics of the digital music market in Japan.
This publication is based on the expansion of the digital music market over the Internet and mobile phones etc.
in Japan, and in line with the standpoint of IFPI (International Federation of the Phonographic Industry) which
begins publication of digital music delivery statistics at the international level.
RIAJ made public the figures of the 1st and 2nd quarters and the cumulative figure this time and will also publicize
the sales figures in quarterly base in future. |
